Bayside Settlement House is a community center where people participate  in multi-socialservices to strengthen their potential and build a healthy, active community.

The Time Exchange Network is a computerized, neighbor-to-neighbor exchange of services and credits. N.T.N was developed by Bayside Settlement House staff in 1997, in conjunction with Access (HAY) and a group of local residents interested in the planning and development of the NTN Time Exchange Network.
Information forming the NTN Time exchange Network Model at Bayside Settlement House was taken from various sources. The M.O.R.E Time Dollar Exchange of Grace Hill Neighborhood Services, ST. Louis, Missouri, has served as our primary resource. The manual, book and software known as Time Dollars, by Edgar Can has also been used. Many ideas and suggestions have come from other community barter examples, vote local and national, and neighborhood residents.
